The Skid Mounted Helicopters Transporters are designed to transport and position helicopters weighing up to Two different versions: Helitrailer Series: towable unit specially built for ramp applications due to its extremely resistance chassis and steering system , and therefore suitable for long distance towing even in irregular ramp grounds. Helimover Series: self-propelled version with highly mobility, specially suitable to handler helicopters on reduced areas like hangars or boat decks. Suitable for use with different helicopters such as BO-105, BELL 205, BELL 206, BELL 209, BELL 210 ,BELL 212, BELL 412, LYNX, EC-135, EC-120, ALH , H-500, AW-119, etc... Optimized design to use the equipment on Civil and Military (Army , Air Force , Marine) customers

Ground hand wheels

To move the Skid helicopters on the ground, Langa designs and manufactures a set of manually operated hydraulic dual wheels, that are provided as loose equipment. The wheels are extended into the moving position by means of a hand operated hydraulic pump in the supporting cradle of each unit. |
